Welcome to my speaking events page

With over seven years of experience in public speaking, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my story with youth, women, and various audiences. I have led a retreat in both song and word, and I must say—it is truly liberating.

As the author of two children’s books, I’ve been able to speak about the inspiration behind my writing and the journey that led me to publish them. In 2011, I founded a nonprofit, which has recently been revitalized to serve as a bridge for youth. I’ve shared on multiple platforms about the process of starting and evolving the organization, offering insight into both the challenges and rewards.

Whether on a paid stage or in a community setting, I am passionate about sharing my story - I pray for the opportunity to use my experiences to encourage and uplift others. I firmly believe that the most impactful stories come from those who have lived through them.

If you’re interested in booking me to speak, please follow the instructions in the contact section, and I’ll be in touch soon!

Past Events

  • Embrace the Detour

I shared developmental techniques to help parents better understand and support their child with an IEP. My focus was on equipping families with practical tools and insights that foster growth, confidence, and communication, while helping them navigate the unique learning journey of their child.

  • Artise Author Weekend

I shared my journey to becoming an author as a testament to the immense growth I’ve experienced since my school years. I spoke how the writing process became a path to healing in areas where I was still struggling and encouraged others to move forward boldly in their own endeavors knowing their story has purpose and power.

  • Letter to your younger self

I shared a letter I wrote to my younger self with a group of young girls expressing how that simple act created a lane of better understanding and self-awareness. This letter allowed me to reflect on how far I’ve come and how much further I can go. It gave life a deeper meaning and reminded me of how precious it truly is - something I didn’t fully grasp in my younger years.

  • You are the ABCS

During my time with young elementary students, I shared the importance of who they are and they were created to be. I Am the ABC’S the first children’s book I wrote, reflects on the core attributes every child should know and embrace. It’s more than a book - it’s a declaration that no matter a child’s academic challenge, disabilities, or lack of home care and stability they are somebody. Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and empowered to believe their worth.

  • My YMCA Story

At a YMCA gala event, I shared my story of how the YMCA stepped in during a pivotal time in my life. While raising my firstborn child, her father passed away when she was just 31/2 years old. It was an incredibly difficult season - both emotionally and financially. The YMCA offered a program that provided financial assistance to single mothers helping with tuition and other expenses. That support gave me the kickstart I needed to move forward in a new way of living, offering stability and hope at a time I needed it most.

  • Praise Retreat

I was honored to lead a praise and worship event at a women’s weekend retreat. It was my very first time and while I didn’t know what to expect I embraced the moment and shared in between songs just how good God has been in my life. It was a powerful time of being in the presence of Christ - a movement where I openly declared my testimony and gave glory to God for his faithfulness. That experience deepened my faith and reminded me of the power of worship and testimony.
